its.gd allows users to create, manage and share shortened URLs.

The service is designed around trust and safety.

Before activation, destination URLs are checked using automated structural, heuristic, network and threat-intelligence checks. Links may also be checked again after creation.

Every its.gd short link passes through a safety interstitial that shows the destination and available safety information before the visitor decides whether to continue.

its.gd shortens links. It does not intentionally hide scams, malware, phishing pages or other malicious destinations.

You may use its.gd only if you are legally capable of entering into the relevant agreement or otherwise permitted to use the service under applicable law.

If you use its.gd on behalf of a company, organization, client or other legal entity, you confirm that you are authorized to act on its behalf.

Information provided when creating an account, purchasing a subscription, submitting reports or contacting us must be accurate and must not be misleading.

Some its.gd features require an account.

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login credentials secure;
• maintaining accurate account information;
• activities performed through your account; and
• notifying us without undue delay if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised.

You may not sell, share or transfer an account in violation of these Terms or use another person's account without authorization.

We may restrict or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary because of violations, security risks, abuse, payment failures or legal obligations, subject to applicable law.

its.gd currently allows up to 10 free random links per month without an account, subject to the current product rules.

Free links use random slugs assigned by its.gd.

Free functionality may be subject to:

• usage limits;
• availability;
• safety checks;
• rate limits;
• abuse-prevention measures;
• technical restrictions; and
• reasonable product changes.

Free links are provided without a guarantee of permanent availability.

Because free links may be created without an account or email address, we may not be able to notify their creators individually about changes, suspension or discontinuation.

its.gd may offer the following paid plans:

Pro

Up to 100 active custom links with slugs of 4 or more characters.

Pro+

Up to 250 active links, with slugs of 3 or more characters and, subject to availability, one rare 2-character slug.

Ultra

Up to 500 active links, with slugs of 2 or more characters and, subject to availability, one single-character slug.

There are only 36 possible single-character alphanumeric slugs, and availability is therefore strictly limited.

Rare slugs count toward the applicable plan's total active-link allowance.

The current price, billing period, included features and other applicable conditions are displayed on the pricing page and during checkout.

The information shown during checkout at the time of purchase forms part of the contract.

Paid plans are account-based subscriptions.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, subscriptions renew automatically for the applicable billing period until cancelled.

The recurring price and billing frequency are displayed before purchase.

Paid slugs remain assigned to the account while the applicable subscription remains active and paid and the user complies with these Terms.

A subscription does not give the user ownership of a slug, short URL or the its.gd domain.

You may change paid plans through the available account or billing functionality.

Upgrades

Where offered, upgrades may take effect immediately.

Any applicable prorated charge or other price adjustment will be displayed before you confirm the upgrade.

Downgrades

Unless otherwise stated, downgrades take effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

Until then, the existing plan remains active.

If your account contains more active links than the target plan permits, you may need to reduce the number of active links before completing the downgrade.

We will not automatically choose which links you should delete solely to complete a voluntary downgrade.

Rare slugs

Rare slugs are linked to the plan that makes them available.

If you move to a plan that no longer permits a particular rare slug, the slug may be released when the downgrade takes effect.

For example:

• a single-character Ultra slug may be released when leaving Ultra;
• a 2-character slug may be released when moving to a plan that does not support it.

Once released, a slug may be claimed by another user and cannot be guaranteed to remain available.

You may cancel a paid subscription through the cancellation functionality provided on its.gd.

Where German consumer law requires an online cancellation mechanism, we provide the required cancellation process in accordance with applicable law.

Cancellation of an ordinary recurring subscription generally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless:

• a different termination date is selected where available;
• extraordinary termination rights apply;
• statutory consumer rights provide otherwise; or
• we expressly agree to an earlier termination.

After the subscription ends, paid functionality ceases.

Paid links may then become inactive and paid slugs may subsequently be released.

Once a slug has been released, we cannot guarantee that it can be reclaimed.

Cancellation of a subscription is different from exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from an online contract.

Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, the legally required information concerning the withdrawal period, procedure, consequences and model withdrawal form is provided separately.

If you expressly request that we begin providing a service before the statutory withdrawal period has expired, the legal consequences are governed by applicable consumer law.

Depending on the legal classification of the relevant service and the circumstances, this may include an obligation to pay proportionate compensation for services already provided or, where the statutory requirements are met, the expiry of the withdrawal right.

Nothing in these Terms restricts statutory withdrawal rights.

Before submitting a paid order, you will be shown the essential characteristics of the plan, the price, billing period, recurring-payment information and other information required by law.

A paid order is submitted through a button or equivalent mechanism clearly indicating that the order creates a payment obligation.

After a successful order, we or our payment provider will provide the relevant confirmation electronically.

The contractual language and other required consumer information are provided during the ordering process where applicable.

Payments are processed through our payment provider, currently Stripe.

You must provide accurate billing and payment information.

By purchasing a paid subscription, you authorize the applicable recurring charges shown during checkout.

If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, charged back or otherwise not received, we may reasonably restrict the affected paid functionality after taking account of applicable law and the circumstances.

Nothing in this section restricts legitimate statutory or contractual rights to dispute a payment.

Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription fees are not refundable merely because:

• you stop using the service before the billing period ends;
• you voluntarily delete a link;
• another user receives a slug after you release it;
• analytics are lower than expected; or
• you no longer require the service.

This does not affect:

• statutory withdrawal rights;
• rights arising from defective digital services;
• statutory termination rights;
• legally required reimbursements; or
• any refund expressly offered by us.

Prices are displayed together with applicable tax information as required by law.

Where VAT or other taxes apply, their treatment will be shown during checkout or on the relevant invoice.

Destination locking is a core safety feature of its.gd.

Once a short link has been activated, it remains bound to its original website.

A link cannot be changed into a redirect to an unrelated website.

This helps prevent bait-and-switch abuse in which a short URL initially points to a legitimate destination and is later redirected somewhere harmful or deceptive.

Free links are permanently locked to the destination selected when they are created.

The destination of a free link cannot be corrected or replaced through the normal link-management functionality.

If a different destination is required, a new link must be created.

Paid plans may permit corrections within the same registrable domain.

For example, this can allow a typo to be corrected or a link to be updated when a page has moved within the same website.

A correction is permitted only where:

• the link is associated with an active eligible paid plan;
• the new destination uses the same registrable domain;
• the new destination passes the applicable safety checks;
• the correction is made by the authorized account holder or by us where necessary for legal or safety reasons; and
• the correction does not circumvent the purpose of destination locking.

Corrections may be recorded in the link's history.

Where the product displays correction history publicly or sends correction notifications, that functionality forms part of the trust and transparency system.

Attempting to use corrections to change the effective destination to unrelated content or evade safety checks is prohibited.

Where included in the applicable plan, link owners may configure campaign parameters such as UTM parameters.

These parameters may be appended when the visitor chooses to continue from the its.gd safety interstitial.

Campaign parameters already present in the destination URL are not overwritten.

Campaign parameters do not change the underlying destination-locking rules.

its.gd performs automated safety checks on destination URLs.

Checks may include:

• URL structure and scheme validation;
• embedded-credential detection;
• raw IP, localhost and private-host detection;
• dangerous file-extension detection;
• suspicious double extensions;
• brand-impersonation indicators;
• homograph, punycode, mixed-script or emoji-domain indicators;
• abuse-related TLD indicators;
• chained-shortener detection;
• open-redirect indicators;
• opaque or encoded parameter indicators;
• DNS resolution;
• redirect-chain analysis;
• third-party threat-intelligence information; and
• internal abuse and report information.

We may improve, replace, add or remove individual safety checks as security threats, providers and technical methods evolve, provided this does not unlawfully impair consumer rights.

Safety checks are intended to reduce risk.

They do not guarantee that a destination is:

• safe;
• lawful;
• accurate;
• trustworthy;
• permanently available; or
• free from malware, phishing, fraud or other risks.

A clean status means that the applicable its.gd checks did not identify a reason to block or warn about the destination based on the information available at the relevant time.

It is not an endorsement, certification or warranty of the destination, its operator, content, products or services.

If our systems identify a destination as malicious or otherwise prohibited, link creation may be refused.

This may include destinations associated with malware, phishing, fraud or other serious safety failures.

Destinations that trigger suspicious indicators without meeting our blocking threshold may be permitted subject to warnings.

A user who believes a destination was incorrectly refused may request human review.

Every its.gd short link passes through a safety interstitial before the destination is reached.

The interstitial displays information such as:

• the actual destination;
• the current safety result;
• relevant warnings or risk signals; and
• a clear option to continue or stop where continuing is permitted.

Visitors must actively choose to continue.

A link owner cannot disable the interstitial.

The interstitial contains no advertising and no third-party advertising or marketing trackers.

A link may be classified as clean, suspicious, unsafe, blocked, inactive, unavailable or under review.

Safety status can change over time.

We may review or recheck a destination when:

• new threat information becomes available;
• a destination or redirect chain changes;
• an abuse report is received;
• a security event occurs;
• a competent authority contacts us; or
• we reasonably suspect a violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

A link that was previously permitted may therefore later receive a warning, become restricted or be blocked.

Your use of its.gd is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You may not use its.gd for unlawful, malicious, fraudulent, deceptive or abusive activity.

This includes using the service for phishing, malware, scams, credential theft, child sexual abuse material, unlawful threats, prohibited terrorist content, serious intellectual-property infringement, spam or attempts to circumvent our security systems.

The current Acceptable Use Policy provides additional details.

You may not attempt to circumvent:

• safety checks;
• destination locking;
• rate limits;
• account restrictions;
• billing systems;
• slug restrictions;
• moderation decisions; or
• other security and abuse-prevention measures.

You may not use redirect chains, domain rotation, cloaking, encoded destinations, compromised websites or similar techniques primarily to hide the actual destination or evade our systems.

You are responsible for the URLs you submit, the slugs you select, the destinations you link to, and the manner in which you distribute your links.

You must have the necessary rights and legal grounds to submit and share the relevant URLs and content.

Your use of its.gd must comply with applicable law and third-party rights.

A slug is the path used in an its.gd short link.

You may not choose a custom slug that is unlawful, materially misleading, fraudulent, infringing, impersonating or abusive.

We may refuse or restrict a slug where reasonably necessary because of:

• third-party rights;
• fraud or impersonation;
• safety;
• abuse;
• legal requirements;
• technical requirements; or
• reserved system functionality.

Users do not acquire ownership of slugs or short URLs.

Paid plans provide a contractual right to use eligible slugs through its.gd for the duration of the applicable subscription, subject to these Terms.

Some paid plans may provide aggregated link analytics.

Depending on the product configuration, these may include statistics such as:

• clicks;
• country or region;
• device type;
• operating system;
• source or referrer; and
• other aggregated usage information.

Analytics may be approximate, delayed, incomplete, filtered or temporarily unavailable.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, analytics are informational and are not guaranteed to provide any particular marketing, commercial or measurement result.

Analytics must not be used unlawfully to identify or profile individual visitors.

Further information is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Anyone may report a potentially unsafe, unlawful or abusive its.gd link through the reporting functionality provided by the service.

Reports should be submitted in good faith and contain sufficient information to allow assessment.

We may use automated checks, human review, third-party threat intelligence and other relevant information when reviewing reports.

Submitting deliberately false, abusive or manipulative reports is prohibited.

We may take proportionate action where we reasonably determine that a link, account or activity:

• violates these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
• violates applicable law;
• creates a material security or abuse risk;
• infringes third-party rights;
• circumvents our safety systems; or
• threatens the integrity of the service.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• refuse link creation;
• display warnings;
• restrict redirection;
• block or disable links;
• restrict account functionality;
• suspend or terminate accounts;
• release slugs where contractually and legally permitted;
• preserve relevant records; or
• cooperate with competent authorities where legally required.

Where required by applicable law, affected users will receive information about relevant moderation decisions and available means of redress.

We may act without advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention or compliance with law.

Please provide enough information to identify the relevant link or account and explain why you believe the decision should be reviewed.

We may use human review for disputed or uncertain decisions where appropriate or legally required.

Any statutory rights to challenge a decision remain unaffected.

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Temporary interruptions may result from:

• maintenance;
• security incidents;
• abuse prevention;
• infrastructure problems;
• third-party service failures;
• legal requirements; or
• events outside our reasonable control.

Temporary service interruptions do not affect statutory consumer rights where the legal requirements for such rights are met.

We may improve and modify its.gd over time.

This may include changes to:

• user interfaces;
• technical infrastructure;
• security systems;
• safety checks;
• analytics;
• reasonable usage limits;
• integrations; and
• other functionality.

For paid consumer subscriptions involving continuous digital services, material modifications are subject to applicable consumer law.

Where required, we will:

• have a valid reason for the modification;
• impose no additional cost solely because of that modification;
• provide clear information about the change; and
• give advance notice on a durable medium where a change materially impairs access or use.

Any statutory right to terminate because of a material modification remains unaffected.

We may change prices or plan structures for future purchases.

For an existing paid subscription, price changes or material changes to the contracted service take effect only in accordance with the contract and applicable law.

Where notice or consent is legally required, we will provide it.

A user who does not wish to continue after a future renewal at a properly notified new price may cancel before the new billing period begins, subject to any additional statutory rights.

We may permanently discontinue its.gd where reasonably necessary for business, technical, legal, security or operational reasons, subject to applicable contractual and statutory obligations.

For Pro, Pro+ and Ultra subscriptions, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least one month's advance notice using the email address associated with the account where reasonably possible.

Advance notice may not be possible where immediate action is required because of:

• law or an authority order;
• an urgent security incident;
• serious abuse;
• insolvency;
• loss of essential infrastructure or providers;
• force majeure; or
• comparable circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Mandatory consumer rights, including any rights relating to prepaid periods or termination of a digital service, remain unaffected.

If its.gd is discontinued, free links may stop working and may be deleted without individual notification.

Because free links can be created without contact information, individual advance notice may be impossible.

Users should therefore not rely on free links as permanent infrastructure for critical, emergency, legal, medical, financial or similarly essential purposes.

its.gd relies on third-party infrastructure and services.

These may include hosting, DNS, security, payment, email, analytics and threat-intelligence providers.

Third-party services have their own availability, technical limitations and policies.

We are responsible for our contractual obligations notwithstanding the use of service providers, but we cannot guarantee that independent third-party services will always operate without interruption.

its.gd, DOMU.STUDIO, our branding, logos, website content, software and original service elements are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized, you may not reproduce, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit protected its.gd materials.

Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted by mandatory law.

If you voluntarily send us suggestions, ideas or feedback about its.gd, you permit us to use that feedback to operate, improve and develop the service without an obligation to compensate you, unless otherwise agreed.

This does not transfer ownership of unrelated intellectual property or confidential information to us.

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.

You must not use its.gd in a way that unlawfully infringes another person's privacy or data-protection rights.

You must not intentionally attack, overload, disrupt, circumvent or gain unauthorized access to its.gd or data belonging to other users.

If you discover a potential security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to: contact@domu.studio

Good-faith security reports are welcome.

Do not exploit a vulnerability, access data you are not authorized to access, or publicly disclose a vulnerability in a manner that creates an avoidable security risk.

Where its.gd constitutes a digital product or digital service under applicable consumer law, consumers retain all statutory rights concerning conformity, provision, remedies, updates and modifications.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits those mandatory rights.

its.gd provides safety checks and destination information to reduce risk.

We do not guarantee that:

• every malicious destination will be detected;
• a clean destination will remain safe;
• every link will remain continuously available;
• analytics will always be complete or exact;
• a particular slug will remain available after release;
• using its.gd will produce traffic, revenue, conversions or other commercial results; or
• its.gd satisfies requirements specific to your business or regulated activity unless expressly agreed.

A safety result is not an endorsement or certification of the destination.

We are liable without limitation where liability is mandatory under applicable law, including for:

• intent and gross negligence;
• injury to life, body or health;
• liability under mandatory product-liability law;
• fraudulently concealed defects;
• expressly assumed guarantees where applicable; and
• other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

In cases of slight negligence involving a breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to damage that was typical and reasonably foreseeable when the contract was concluded.

An essential contractual obligation is an obligation whose fulfilment is necessary for proper performance of the contract and on whose performance the contracting party may ordinarily rely.

Any further exclusion or limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

If you use its.gd in the course of a business or professional activity, you agree, to the extent legally permitted, to indemnify us against justified third-party claims resulting from your unlawful use of the service, your infringement of third-party rights, or your culpable breach of these Terms.

This applies only to the extent you are responsible for the circumstances giving rise to the claim.

We will inform you of relevant third-party claims where appropriate and reasonably allow you to participate in their defense.

This section does not exclude or reduce our own responsibility under applicable law.

We may terminate or suspend a contractual relationship where:

• you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy;
• you use the service for serious unlawful or malicious activity;
• payment remains due;
• continued provision creates a material security or legal risk;
• continued provision becomes impossible or unreasonable for reasons outside our reasonable control; or
• another statutory or contractual right of termination applies.

Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice or an opportunity to remedy the issue before termination.

Immediate action remains possible where reasonably necessary because of serious abuse, security risks or legal obligations.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

We may reorganize, sell or transfer its.gd or relevant business assets to another business or legal successor.

Any transfer of contracts, personal data or other rights and obligations will take place only in accordance with applicable law.

Where required, users will be informed and consent will be obtained where legally necessary.

Personal-data transfers are additionally governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms for valid reasons, including:

• changes in applicable law;
• security requirements;
• prevention of new forms of abuse;
• technical changes;
• changes required by third-party infrastructure;
• clarification of existing provisions; or
• development of the service.

Changes affecting existing paid consumer contracts are subject to applicable contractual and consumer law.

Where required, we will notify affected users before a change takes effect and inform them of any applicable rights.

Merely continuing to use the service does not override statutory requirements for consent where consent to a contractual change is legally required.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

If you are a consumer and mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of habitual residence provides additional protection, those mandatory rights remain unaffected.

For merchants, legal entities under public law and special funds under public law, Cologne, Germany, is the place of jurisdiction to the extent legally permitted.

For consumers, the applicable statutory jurisdiction rules apply.

We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

If an individual provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected to the extent legally possible.

The applicable statutory provisions apply in place of an invalid provision where required.
